Georgetown ISD alters schedule, delays campus openings due to budget shortfall

The Georgetown Independent School District Board of Trustees approved changes for the 2026-2027 school year, including delaying the opening of two campuses, implementing a new bell and bus schedule, and approving a new academic calendar.
