But while Heather was a feature on screens throughout the ‘90s and aughts, Wednesday marks a rare return to the spotlight for the 42-year-old.
In fact, she has previously detailed feeling “cast aside” by Hollywood.
“I feel at a loss because I feel I have done THE WORK, for a long time, with no complaint,” she wrote in a series of tweets on X, then Twitter, in 2022. “I have taken the disappointments, the rejections, etc., and maintained that rejection is redirection. I have had continual FAITH in the Universe, but today, something broke.”
The Welcome to the Dollhouse star added, “I’ve given my life to acting for over 30 years and am done struggling just to survive. I just need a win. A life-changing win. Cause this ain’t it.”
Perhaps that life-changing win came in the form of Wednesday, which introduces Heather to a new generation of fans.
