Veronica Leoni to Leave Calvin Klein Collection When Her Contract Ends

On 15 October 2026, Calvin Klein announced that Veronica Leoni will leave her role as creative director of Calvin Klein Collection when her current contract ends. Global brand president David Savman thanked her for her creative vision, commitment and partnership. Leoni’s time at Collection is ending, and the brand has not named who comes next.

Leoni was appointed in May 2024 as the brand’s first female creative director and showed her first collection in New York in February 2025. The length of her tenure is described differently. W Magazine says she served two years as creative director, while FashionUnited counts four seasons. The announcement comes as PVH, which owns Calvin Klein, reports a sales decline for the brand.

What Calvin Klein Confirmed

Calvin Klein’s statement says Leoni will part ways with the brand at the end of her current contract. The brand said the new creative leadership structure for Collection will be revealed in due course, and it gave no date for that announcement.

Savman called the reintroduction of Collection a significant milestone and credited Leoni with building momentum for the line. The brand also said Collection remains an important part of its long-term strategy and the pinnacle expression of the brand.

Leoni’s debut in February 2025 ended a runway hiatus for the line that began when Raf Simons left in 2018. W Magazine says the early reception was mixed, and that her spring 2026 show was received more positively. Before Calvin Klein, she worked at Jil Sander, Céline, Moncler and The Row.

Calvin Klein’s Quarterly Revenue
Calvin Klein revenue was $913.3 million for the quarter ended 2 August 2026, down 6.8% as reported and 7.1% in constant currency, according to FashionUnited, while PVH’s 8-K gives 7% on both bases.

Calvin Klein’s Sales Before the Exit

In PVH’s second-quarter results for the period ended 2 August 2026, Calvin Klein revenue was $913.3 million, down from $980.0 million a year earlier. That is a drop of $66.7 million. FashionUnited puts the decline at 6.8% as reported and 7.1% in constant currency. The 8-K gives 7% on both a reported and a constant-currency basis.

The 8-K attributes about 4 points of the drop to a shift in the timing of wholesale shipments in the Americas, into the second half of 2026.

Across the group, PVH reported revenue of $2,097.0 million, down 3.2%. Tommy Hilfiger revenue was $1.13 billion, down 0.4%. By region, EMEA fell 5.9% to $986.3 million, which management linked to the Middle East conflict weighing on demand.

PVH took $439 million in pre-tax noncash goodwill impairment charges, tied to changes in valuation assumptions from geopolitical and macroeconomic factors. The result was a GAAP net loss of $102.9 million. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was $171.9 million, or $3.70 per diluted share.

The company kept its full-year outlook: revenue roughly flat with the prior year, and adjusted earnings per share of $11.80 to $12.10.

Creative Director Changes at Other Houses

Kering announced on 9 October that Anthony Vaccarello is leaving Saint Laurent after 10 years, and said a successor would be named shortly. As of 15 October, no successor had been confirmed.

On 15 October, Kering confirmed that Seán McGirr is leaving Alexander McQueen. He joined in October 2023, succeeding Sarah Burton, who had held the role for 26 years, and presented his first collection in March 2024. His exit follows a return-home show in London last September, which was meant to reset the brand under CEO Gianfranco D’Attis. McQueen says it will announce its new creative direction soon.

FashionUnited notes that more than 20 major brands changed creative leadership in 2025, and that 16 designers debuted at 15 houses during the September 2025 shows.

Saint Laurent and McQueen are Kering brands, while Calvin Klein belongs to PVH. The three announcements came within about a week of one another.

Leoni’s time at Collection is ending, and the brand has not named who comes next.

What Happens Next for Collection

Leoni remains in the role until her current contract ends. No end date for that contract has been confirmed.

The next step the brand has described is the announcement of new creative leadership for Collection. No successor has been named, and no date has been set for that announcement.

W Magazine says it is unclear whether Leoni will return to Calvin Klein. She launched her own label, Quira, in 2020 and paused it when she took the Calvin Klein job.

PVH reaffirmed its full-year outlook in its second-quarter results, released on 2 September.
