Q&A with James Quattrochi

As James Quattrochi continues to expand his presence in both entertainment and fashion, Hollywood Fashion Magazine sat down with the actor to talk timeless style, grooming, confidence, and the influence of old-school Hollywood.

Q1. Your style has a timeless quality to it. When you think of classic Hollywood icons like Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Paul Newman, or Steve McQueen, what lessons do you think today’s generation can learn from their approach to fashion and confidence?

James Quattrochi:

For starters—dress up, man. If you’re going to an event, dress to impress. You never know who you might meet, and first impressions matter. Look your best. Wear the sweats at home.

Q2. You’ve become known for your polished appearance and distinguished style. How would you describe your personal fashion philosophy, and how has it evolved throughout your career?

James Quattrochi:

I’ve built a big wardrobe over the years, and thankfully my size hasn’t changed much. I’ve always believed in being prepared—whether it’s for an event, an audition, or a night out. I have styles for every occasion. The most important thing is to always look clean, sharp, and put together.

Q3. You grew up admiring old-school Hollywood. Who are some of the style icons that influenced you the most, and what about their look still inspires you today?

James Quattrochi:

Tyrone Power, Dean Martin, Cary Grant—the old-school movie stars. I honestly wish I was born in that era. There was a sophistication and elegance to the way they carried themselves that still inspires me today.

Q4. Hollywood can be demanding when it comes to appearance. What are your personal grooming essentials that help you stay camera-ready year-round?

James Quattrochi:

[Laughs.] Lately it’s definitely face creams, peptides for the skin, and anti-aging products. I probably have a hundred tubes and bottles in my bathroom. I’ve learned that taking care of your skin is just as important as anything else.

Q5. Your hair has become one of your signature features. What’s your grooming routine, and do you have any personal tips for men who want to age confidently and look their best?

James Quattrochi:

That’s a great question. I’ve been using products to keep and grow my hair for years. I also do red light therapy on my hair and face, use a good shampoo, and make sure to massage the scalp. I think consistency is the key—take care of yourself and stay ahead of it.

Q6. Fashion trends come and go. What are five items every gentleman should own regardless of age, profession, or budget?

James Quattrochi:

A great pair of shoes—personally, I love cowboy boots and have a lot of them. Nice dress jeans, well-fitting T-shirts, sport jackets, and at least one great suit. Add some shirts and ties, and now you’re ready for anything.

Q7. You balance acting, producing, travel, and public appearances. How do fitness, health, and grooming work together in helping you maintain your image and confidence?

James Quattrochi:

I try to get to the gym every day when I’m not on set. Set days are long, so when I’m working, I focus on rest and recovery. Eating habits are important too, and when I travel, I always try to stay at a hotel with a gym. Sleep is also a huge part of it—it really matters.

Q8. You have the look and presence that many luxury brands seek today. If you could represent any fashion, watch, automobile, travel, or grooming brand in the world, which would you choose and why?

James Quattrochi:

They all sound terrific, but I’d probably go with the car first—something sporty, hot, and fast. That would definitely be my first pick.

Q9. With social media becoming such an important part of entertainment, how do you balance staying authentic while building your personal brand on Instagram and TikTok?

James Quattrochi:

I’m always me. I’m not going to change that. What you see is what you get. I definitely have opinions, but I’ve also learned that not every opinion needs to be shared. Laughs.

Q10. When fans see your photos, fashion editorials, red carpet appearances, and television work, what do you hope they take away about the man behind the image?

James Quattrochi:

That I’m truly a good person. I have faith, and I always remember where I came from—my family, my friends, the people who’ve been there for me. If you’re in my life, it’s for a reason. I’m very loyal—sometimes to a fault.

Bonus Question

If you could have dinner with Frank Sinatra and one modern Hollywood style icon, who would you choose—and what would you ask them about confidence, style, success, and longevity?

James Quattrochi:

Wow so many choices. I’d say Sinatra and Brad Pitt. Although, I have to admit, sitting down with Al Pacino and picking his brain about how he creates his characters would be incredible from an acting standpoint. But if I had to choose, it would be Sinatra and Brad Pitt.

I’d ask them why they chose such completely different styles and what success really means to them. I’d like to know how they’ve maintained that level of confidence, how they’ve stayed relevant and working for so many years, and who the real person behind the public persona.
