Tiffany & Co. Names Amanda Seyfried House Ambassador in Its 2026 Holiday Film You & Me

Tiffany & Co. has named Amanda Seyfried as its newest house ambassador, and her first work in the role is the brand’s 2026 holiday campaign. Luxe Digital reported the announcement on 28 October 2026. The campaign, titled Love Is a Gift, centres on a short film called You & Me.

The lead material is one story about a gift passed from one generation to the next, with Seyfried at its centre. Tiffany’s other named-talent campaigns this year each feature a different star.

A House Ambassador Debuts in the Holiday Campaign

The announcement names Seyfried as the newest house ambassador and presents her debut as the 2026 holiday campaign. Luxe Digital reports that the brand put her at the centre of the campaign. Retail Gazette, reporting on 29 October, describes her as the star of the brand’s Christmas campaign.

Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co., welcomed her and said she embodies “joy, style and sophistication,” qualities he linked to the brand’s nearly 190 years. Retail Gazette, Yahoo Life UK and Professional Jeweller all carry that wording.

Luxe Digital reports a different remark from Ledru. In that version, he says the brand has celebrated the most meaningful moments in people’s lives, and that the film shows the lasting power of a Tiffany & Co. gift.

Seyfried said she was thrilled to join the brand and to take part in a campaign about love, family and tradition. Luxe Digital reports that she described the campaign as her first appearance as a Tiffany house ambassador. Yahoo Life UK identifies her as the actress known for Mamma Mia.

The Campaign at a Glance
Luxe Digital reports that Tiffany & Co. has not disclosed the campaign’s spend or the film’s running time. The campaign is built around the short film You & Me, directed by Derek Cianfrance.

A Three-Generation Story Built Around One Box

The film was directed by Derek Cianfrance, an Academy Award nominee, according to Retail Gazette and Yahoo Life UK. Retail Gazette names the creative agency as American Haiku and the production firm as Radical Media, and lists Arseni Khachaturan as cinematographer.

The film alternates between present-day New York City and a Christmas memory from the 1990s. Luxe Digital places the present-day scenes in an Upper East Side townhouse. There, a woman decorating a Christmas tree finds a Tiffany Blue Box dated December 1992.

The box takes her back to a day in New York City, where she begins to see her mother as an accomplished woman with a life of her own, according to Professional Jeweller. The mother then gives her daughter a Blue Box containing a hand-painted Bird on a Rock ornament.

In the present, the daughter, now an adult, passes the same ornament to her own daughter. Luxe Digital describes the film as spanning three generations of women.

Yahoo Life UK says the campaign presents Tiffany jewellery as heirloom pieces that pass between generations, carrying memories and traditions. Retail Gazette says the spot aims to show how a gift can become an heirloom. Across the film, one ornament moves through three generations of women.

The Ornament and the Archive Pieces Behind the Film

Luxe Digital and Professional Jeweller say the ornament was made exclusively for the film, and Retail Gazette says it was made for the film. Karen Murphy, the production designer, worked on the piece. Professional Jeweller describes it as hand-painted, and Luxe Digital adds that the ornament is not offered for sale.

Retail Gazette says the ornament draws on Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock, designed for Tiffany & Co. in 1965. Yahoo Life UK describes it as custom-made for the film and inspired by that 1965 design. Tiffany’s press page also lists a reimagined Bird on a Rock high and fine jewelry collection dated 2 October 2025, 26 days before the 2025 holiday campaign.

The film also uses archive pieces. Retail Gazette lists a Louis Comfort Tiffany Wisteria table lamp, which Luxe Digital describes as a stained-glass piece in a town house filled with archival objects.

Luxe Digital, Professional Jeweller and Yahoo Life UK all say the mother wears pieces from the HardWear collection.

The Figures and Dates Behind the Film

Anthony Ledru ties the brand’s history to nearly 190 years, according to Retail Gazette, Yahoo Life UK and Professional Jeweller. The Bird on a Rock design dates to 1965, and the Blue Box in the film is dated December 1992.

Yahoo Life UK places the flashbacks in the 1990s, and the soundtrack draws on The Wannadies’ 1994 track “You & Me Song.” Luxe Digital notes that the film’s title echoes the name of that song.

Tiffany has not disclosed the campaign’s spend, according to Luxe Digital.

Across the film, one ornament moves through three generations of women.

Tiffany’s Named Campaigns Across 2025 and 2026

Tiffany’s press page lists several named-talent campaigns in 2026. A Valentine’s Day campaign starring Adria Arjona is dated 3 February 2026, and the page describes it as celebrating love stories since 1837. A campaign film featuring Natalie Portman is dated 23 March, and Love & Celebration, starring Mikey Madison, is dated 6 July.

The same page lists the 2025 holiday campaign starring Anya Taylor-Joy, dated 28 October 2025, under a different title that centres on love as the ultimate gift. Luxe Digital says that campaign followed a journey through New York, London and Tokyo, while this year’s film centres on one family in an Upper East Side townhouse.

The 2026 holiday film carries the same 28 October date as last year’s launch. Luxe Digital also cites Tiffany’s 2021 About Love campaign, which paired Beyoncé and Jay-Z with the Tiffany Diamond and a rendition of “Moon River.”

The Valentine’s Day, March and July campaigns all featured named talent, and the holiday film continues that approach with a single ambassador at its centre.

What Has Not Been Disclosed

Luxe Digital reports that Tiffany has not disclosed the film’s running time. The film debuts across Tiffany’s channels on Wednesday, 28 October, and those channels have not been named.

Retail Gazette calls the soundtrack a reimagining of The Wannadies’ 1994 track, while Yahoo Life UK calls it a cover of that song.

Yahoo Life UK says Seyfried plays the mother in the flashbacks, while Luxe Digital says she stars in the film.

Several core details are consistent across the coverage: the director, the production designer, the 1965 design, the December 1992 box and the 1994 song.
